Volunteers,
Due to the current circumstances involving COVID-19, we have decided to cancel our Project Backyard Thomasville event that was scheduled for this coming Saturday, March 21, 2020. We want you all to know that we did not make this decision lightly, nor did we do so out of a spirit of fear. Instead, we made this decision for the following reasons:
To support the efforts of our national and local leaders who are working tirelessly to put a stop to the spread of the coronavirus
To protect our volunteers who serve with us, as well as the individuals and families who we serve
In this difficult season, we believe God is calling us beyond our fears to a place of renewed faith in the One who is mighty to save, Jesus. Right now, in the middle of all of this chaos and uncertainty, we know He is still in control and working all things for good in our community, our nation, and throughout the world.
