We are so excited to partner again with Juneteenth Thomasville, as we celebrate unity in our community. Volunteers will be helping with set up, kids games, and other activities in participation with the event.

Project Backyard is so exited to partner with the FPC Thomasville "World Mission Conference" 2022 to host service projects that help those in need in the local community of Thomasville.  Below are important details for those who will be serving with us.

We are partnering will be partnering with FPC Thomasville to put together a group to serve at various project sites as part of HOTC Day 2021. This year, we are partnering with Archbold Hospital to put together more than 600 gift bags for all the nurses, who continue to work long hours and put their life on the line during this difficult COVID season. 600 bags is a lot, but with your help we will be able to make it happen. Volunteers,

Due to the current circumstances involving COVID-19, we have decided to cancel our Project Backyard Thomasville event that was scheduled for this coming Saturday, March 21, 2020.  We want you all to know that we did not make this decision lightly, nor did we do so out of a spirit of fear.  Instead, we made this decision for the following reasons:

• To support the efforts of our national and local leaders who are working tirelessly to put a stop to the spread of the coronavirus

• To protect our volunteers who serve with us, as well as the individuals and families who we serve

In this difficult season, we believe God is calling us beyond our fears to a place of renewed faith in the One who is mighty to save, Jesus.  Right now, in the middle of all of this chaos and uncertainty, we know He is still in control and working all things for good in our community, our nation, and throughout the world.
